This was my submission for the OrigamiForum’s November design challenge. This month’s challenge is to fold something using the pages of a book or magazine, without cutting any pages. This, of course, presents a unique challenge in that one edge of the sheet is always attached to the spine and therefore remains unfolded
I wanted to recreate a small bridge over a creek (envisioned like something something you’d find in a forest near a cottage). Folded out of a catalog I had laying around, I used 4 pages for the bridge sections, 1 for the creek, and 4 for surrounding landscape/road. This presented an interesting challenge, folding around the curve of the pages and the spine.
